Jon says... Well Priced
All the right Viognier flavors and a little sweet. Tastes like apricots and honey (hence the name) with some spiciness. I don’t love it, but it’s tasty enough. I can’t imagine pairing this wine with anything, but it’s good alone. Don’t let this be your first Viognier, but if you are getting into the grape, give it a try.
Ted says... Buy
A $6 viognier that tastes great! While not as delicious as the Yalumba, at half the price, it’s a great buy! It’s probably 80% as good but 50% less price. If you work the math, it’s a fantastic deal.
If you don’t want to do the math, this wine is great. It has nice floral notes, along with a succulent honey finish that is just a tad sweet, making for an easy and delicious drink. At $6 it’s a bargain and will work great on it’s own or with my favorite: Thai curry, mmm!
