Pretty solid pinot. This is the entry level pinot of Robert Sinskey and it is inviting with fruit up front, some nice warm oak to follow through and a long finish. It’s from Carneros, between Southern Napa and Sonoma, home to my favorite wines. Although not as complex as its more expensive older brother, but this bottle is a deal for less than half the price.

Big fruit, very plummy. Very smooth finish. A bit too fruity for a pinot for me, but would go delicious with some tuna tataki or chocolate strawberry pudding. I give it a 7.
