I completely agree with Ted. He nailed the tropical fruit and grassy flavors dead on. New Zealand sauv blanc is zippy, tasty stuff. Oyster Bay has been around since I fell in love with New Zealand wine, and for the money it is one of the best. I would definitely pair this wine with a crisp caesar salad, grilled chicken optional.

Nicely acididity with ripe pineapple and a touch of grassyness to give it that distinctive Sauvignon Blanc aroma. This wine would great with some spicy chicken or pork chops. Or serve it by itself with a handful of friends under a starry summer night. I really like this, I give it an 8.

Oyster Bay sauvignon blanc is absolutely “real” wine. You get so much unique flavor for your money. I can rarely say that about French wines (which I also love). Wait, I take that back. White blends from southwestern France are pretty awesome and affordable.
