If you are looking to try something new, head right for the Spanish section at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. Spanish wine is unlike anything else you’ve tried. Most everyone has tried the Spanish red grapes, Tempranillo and Garnacha, but you have to check out the whites.

This week, 2 Guys Uncorked reviewed three white wines from different regions of Spain. We loved them all (sorry, but no “Don’t Buy” this week). Ted was amazed by the Albarino from Rias Baixas, while I went for the Verdejo/Viura blend from Rueda.

Not everyone has a hot date to celebrate with on Valentine’s Day (Ted and I are both single and dateless.. hint hint). But this doesn’t mean you can’t have fun on February 14th. In Bulgaria, Feb. 14th is Trifon Zarezan, or Wine-Grower’s Day. It’s a big party, so don’t hole-up in your apartment all alone on Thursday. Get out there and celebrate great wine!!

2 Guys Uncorked and We Are Not Martha have put together a great evening that’s full of food, friends and laughter… and booze. Lots of booze.

February 14th is a pretty tricky day. Some people have hot dates they need to impress. Other people have feelings they need to repress. Either way, 2 Guys Uncorked and We Are Not Martha have teamed up to create a special dinner for you.

Over the past 20 years, wine production in the Southern Hemisphere has blown up. Australia and New Zealand recognized this trend early and have seen massive success (who hasn’t had Yellowtail or Cloudy Bay?). So, given all this hype, 2 Guys Uncorked brings you a multi-part series on “Down Under.” This week, 2GU looks at New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs.

Chances are, you’re going to a Superbowl get-together this weekend. Some people go for the game, others go just to hang out with friends. Either way, bringing a bottle of wine is a good call.

This week, 2 Guys Uncorked reviewed wines that go great with Superbowl XLII. These wines are big, bold and perfect for pizza, burgers, chili and buffalo wings (my personal favorite).

After a heck of a lot of work, 2 Guys Uncorked launched. It was time for Ted and Jon to celebrate! So, we bought 4 bottles of American sparkling wine. 3 bottles from California and 1 from Washington State.
