This wine is versatile and easy. Its got some great fruit flavors like green apple and honeydew melon with just the right amount of oak.
No, it’s not an awesome wine by any means. It’s plain and simple, but that’s why it’s so good. Bring to to dinner and it will pair with everything. Bring it to a party and people in the know will instantly grab it before it’s gone. This is the perfect bottle to keep in your fridge in case you have people over. Chances are, everyone’s gonna like it.

This is a great example Chardonnay. On the nose is has delicious fruit—-green apple, a bit of pineapple, and other deliciousness. It is full bodied and nicely oaked, finishing off with a slight butteriness that has nice vanilla hints.
Overall, this wine is nicely balanced and is going to pair great with food. From light seafood appetizers (like shrimp), to chicken entrees, to fruity desserts, you can’t go wrong with this wine.
And for even more food suggestions and some “smoking” reviews, check out the Smoking Loon website, which as web architect myself, is very nicely laid out and developed. I just think their flavors in the wine are a bit too out there—“subtle nuances of clove finishing with nectarine”—I just prefer the simple word: delicious.
