I’ve never been a big fan of Riesling but if you are looking for a change from your typical pinot or merlot, I highly recommend Pacific Rim’s “Dry Riesling.” This wine can be purchased at most grocery stores. I bought it for $9.99 at Trader Joe’s this week.
Perhaps you’ve seen it before, it’s the wine with the Japanese lady on the front. The winery is in Santa Cruz but it goes great with salty, soy sauced enriched Asian foods like sushi and stir fry. The wine is dry and smooth with crisp hints of lime and apricots. Check it out next time you are considering Riesling, it won’t disappoint.
