Chances are, you’re going to a Superbowl get-together this weekend. Some people go for the game, others go just to hang out with friends. Either way, bringing a bottle of wine is a good call.
This week, 2 Guys Uncorked reviewed wines that go great with Superbowl XLII. These wines are big, bold and perfect for pizza, burgers, chili and buffalo wings (my personal favorite).
- 2005 Ravenswood Lodi County Zinfandel: A rich, macho zinfandel at an awesome price! Perfect with burgers and steaks.
- 2006 St. Croix Syrah-Merlot blend: Great “red-cup” party wine. Goes with everything and it’s $5.
- 2006 “Bunny” Riesling: Wash down super-spicy buffalo wings with a tart, mouth-coating riesling. It’s puts the fire out better than milk.
- NV Piper Sonoma Brut: When Tom Brady/Eli Manning throws that winning pass, pop this bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate!
